ursulas_alcove: Blakes 7 (scared)
Just spent 2 and half hours trying to get home on I-79. Apparently there was a nasty accident on the highway. Taking route 50 through Carnegie was our only option. Slow but sure. Got cut off by some very rude people, who then caused gridlock. Many trucks got routed this way but had to turn around because small town bridges couldn't hold their weight. Those poor drivers. Not sure why, but this always seems to happen on a Tuesday.

When we got home, we heard about another accident on I-81, where an SUV got on the highway going in the wrong direction and collided with a semi tractor trailer, bursting into a fireball, closing all six lanes of this super highway. People, think, take it easy, and above all be considerate of other people. The holidays are a time to relax, not rush around. We all have places to go. We're all anxious to get there, but not at the expense of someone's life. Patience and wait your turn. Kindergarten stuff, you remember? That ends today's lecture.
