ursulas_alcove: Robin of the hood woodcut (Rock On!)
I just got back from Fishers Renaissance Faire. We set up in the freezing rain on Friday. Our patrons had a horrible time with the mud on Saturday. Our vehicles had a worse time of it when loading out on Sunday. All-in-all, a character-building experience. I have more stock than when I left. What can I say? I ran into one of my suppliers while I was there. I've restocked my Wool Stockings. There will now be people with happy toasty feet.

And since I never waste the opportunity to visit when I travel, I stopped in to visit a good friend in Columbia City. She just discovered canning for the very first time. It was great to share her enthusiasm. She has gardening plans for next year. The hours flew by as we shared ideas. Then off I went to see my husband, working so far from home in far off Detroit. We had a nice visit, a good dinner, and he was so happy to get his winter coat! Then home again. I feel jet lagged so I'm taking it easy. I'm starting in earnest on bowler hats. First color is red.
