Exhaustion
17 May 2013 10:56 pmI guess I got a lot done. This morning clothes got washed and hung. I shook out rugs. I planted lettuce in the windowbox. The cat learned the hard way that he can't use the windowscreen as a scratching post. He looked really funny dangling from the middle of the window by a claw. A new listing on etsy was photographed. Loom inquiries were discussed. Looms were photographed. Boxes found for shipping. The bottomless box of notions is slowly being put onto cards with labels. I love it when a supplier tosses everything in a box with no labels. It's like a scavenger hunt. Guess this one kind of matches this description; nope, quantity is wrong. Let's look at the catalog picture again. Oops, there are two sizes really close to each other. Time to get the ruler. Wait, this batch has been mismatched, the finish is a slightly different color. Undo those cards. I goofed that one up. And the photocopier can only do two sheets before becoming black and splotchy. It must cool down for a few hours in between. This has become the endless task. So I ran some dyebaths today. We have lime green, golden yellow and pumpkin which looks just like golden yellow. Crimson turned out nice. Then the daughter comes down and says I need shoes! Can we go shopping? Shoes were procured. Lunch happened at 4:30 which is way too late for lunch. Someone please stop the room from spinning. Laundry brought in and folded. A couple of things got put away, like dishes. More orders to pull and package for shipping and at some point, I got in an hour of warping and weaving. Tomorrow is the local sheep and wool festival. If I wake up with my head on straight and remember, I'm to carpool with friends down to Waynesburg to see what dainties I can't afford. You got that right. i'm not selling at this one. I'm just window shopping.
