Inventory is complete. 2019 State Sales Taxes are complete. I file sales tax in 9 states at the moment. Bookkeeping is a regular chore just to keep up. Next comes regular income tax. I also got an update today from Social Security. I may be able to afford to retire when I turn 70 years old. That’s very nice of them to let me know where things stand. Hopefully that won’t change too much over the next 10 years.

My SCA membership has been renewed. My Gulf Wars fees are paid. Next is Pennsic registration. I need to look into getting on the waiting list for some fall sheep and wool shows. Scheduling is always tricky. Yarn needs to be ordered from the mill this week. Now that inventory is complete, it is obvious what I am actually out of. Lists need to be made.

Wooden card weaving cards will be coming in for Gulf Wars. There will also be undyed wool for dyeing workshops at Gulf Wars. I am looking at getting rigid heddles cut down for the hybrid looms as well. No promises though. I have a lot of inventory of 24” heddles that could easily get trimmed down to 6” heddles. Now, to get the attention of the man with a table saw.

It’s also that time of year to look at all the UFOs (Unfinished Objects) and get them off the loom. Hoping all can be finished in time for Gulf Wars. Here’s my list:

Finishing up
Triangle Shawl
Better color shot of Columbine Shawl

Fabric, 42” wide
Needle weaving in ends

Inkle
Inkle project

18” Shawl
New work in progress

The first wave of yarn is on order. A coffee dyebath is being prepared. At some point, the lichen dyebath should be run as well as an indigo bath. That’s a lot. We’ll see how much actually gets done. Like all great things, I have more projects than I have time.
