Examining effeciency
4 Jan 2013 12:25 amAlthough I felt aweful today, I feel like I got more done. This may be boring to anyone but me reading it. I'm examiming what I did versus how I felt about it.
I woke up with a migraine, nausea, headache, sensitive to light. Took 2 advil and felt worse because of empty stomache and allergy to the coating. Ate something and had tea. Improved my disposition immensely. Humidity in shower also helped. Time 11 am. Got camera and setup photos of fabric, learned new technique on photoshop, wrote to client, prepped an order, wound rest of 10/2 cotton, and printed labels. Ate noodles with olive oil, chicken, and Romano cheese for lunch. Time 2 pm left for post office, AAA van registration, Natural Stitches, and East End Food Co-op. Got home at 6 ish and labeled yarn. Fussed on Ravelry with projects and better pictures. Wound new yarn for personal project. Learned the linen stitch. Practising with wool before tackling the new pattern with the CoBaSi I just bought. Need to work with the errata sheet tomorrow. Prototype not behaving well. Ripped it twice. Got to figure out how to increase stitches at edges with this bizarre stitch. Jen made dinner. Spiced rice, carmelized chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, and salad with pecans and cranberries.
Actual time typing into database, minimal. Physical activity higher. Learned new things. Mixture of personal and business throughout the day. Learning to use Ravelry more effectively was in business plan for this year.
Tomorrow's goals:
Put away finished inventory
Inventory the tote in dining room
Balance checkbooks
Sort mail on steps
Dishes
Find an hour to weave uninterrupted
Clean something- dust or attack bathroom
List one new item on etsy
Later with help, weigh a container of assorted yarns- purple
