Kale gets picked for lunch along with leeks.
Beds got prepped. Heavy bag of compost was dragged up from the street and added to the bed. Arugula was picked and the stalks added to the compost pile. A second bed was seeded with radishes and spinach. A straw bale was dragged up from the basement. The trail of straw was swept up. Beds were mulched with straw.
And then the trellises need to be moved out of the way. After oogling a Trellis and Arbor book from the library, I thought I'd try out one in the backyard to see if I like it. It's kind of short. Maybe the deer will get the idea. Doubtful.
Spent the morning chasing down numbers for taxes. Still have more to hunt for. And also 1099s. I also made a small green owl happy. My order came in. Tomorrow I do a shop update.
